ODAC or Schiit Modi I don't really know of any surround sound DACs. Personally I don't like surround and would rather have a 2.1 system with actually high quality speakers. I never had any issues with audio over USB with my Behringer DAC, which I would not recommend due to it producing popping...

USB DACs have better quality for the money as well. Buying a PCI sound card in 2014 is dumb and a waste of money.
