Does the heat test work to see if it is fried? Can i use the epoxy to glue controller parts on the acrylic? (like frankencasing)

I've tried again and again to relocate. The wires are now to about three inches in length with a few longer or shorter and it refuses to work. What can I do? Also in the meantime I wanted to know if super glue epoxy works well to bond plastic to acrylic so i can make the case.
