Ya I'm still able to charge it but if I connect it straight to the gameboy will something happen to it if the volts get tovlow or no?

Now if I hook up a 3.7 li-pol batt can I hook it straight up to the battery holders and charge it using he normal phone or do I need a safety circuit when I connect it?

Rough but still awesome! Maybe if you do it again you could bring it down and incorporate the d pad where the joystick usually would be. ( It also let you use the normal a and b buttons too!)

So after being unable to work on a gcp until I can get parts I found a gameboy that I wanted to mod. I have already painted the front part of the case green and the back black. But I'm wanting to add a backlight. Does anyone know where I can get a good one for little money? Also what other mods...
