    Need screen help...

My meter doesn't 'beep' not that I know of. I was able to get my FB2 to work... And I was able to get a ROLLING picture from the Atari 2600 board. I am guessing this video mod does not work with this screen. Not completely. I may need to perhaps redo the video mod to the newer one... or I...

    Need screen help...

I'm back. I decided to get a different screen to redo some of my portable. It is a bigger screen, and from what I've been told it is easy to use. I got the 3.5" Pustom that you see on ebay or DX. So I went to search out the pinouts for the Pustom screens. This is the one of the 2.5 inch And...

    Battery help

Okay... I removed the control board... I assumed that would help things out according to Ladyada's site. Now... I don't have sound. LOL Do I need to amplify the sound from the Atari? I didn't read anything about that. Btw... still same problems with the video rolling after a bit. I got...

    Battery help

I took that 14.4V battery apart, just to do it. It has 4 cells in it, and is connected to a small board. Obviously the connection is strange as it goes into a laptop that way. Now... what can I do to wire that so that it will recharge? Here's a bit more info on the hip screen pad...

    Battery help

How do I 'step-up' voltage? What can I do to make this run for a while?! LOL Also, will the advice in Ben's book work for adding a wall wart plug? I would like to do that as well.

    Battery help

Okay... I pulled out the ol' meter and decided to check everything out. It is a power issue. I am 100% sure of that. Generally a battery will 'replenish' itself a tad once you turn it off and leave it off for a bit. (Kind of like throwing your cell phone battery in a freezer if you need...

    Battery help

I just re-read the section on the power regulators... It states that the only place that is supposed to recieve un-regulated power is one lead of the CTP. Otherwise I can send the atari to 'its grave'

    Battery help

Okay... I have everything going through the Atari 2600's 7805 per Ben's book and other portables. If I remove the regulator, won't I fry the Atari? Also, a lot of other things connect to that (the video mod... or the big pot that controls the color if I recall. Should I really take out the...

    Battery help

Well.. I tried fresh batteries. I then went out and grabbed Lithium batteries. Same issue. If I leave the unit alone for a bit, and then turn it on, it works. For about 2 minutes. Then the vertical hold goes wacky and the screen is strange. The sound is still there. That make me think...
