Well.. I tried fresh batteries. I then went out and grabbed Lithium batteries. Same issue. If I leave the unit alone for a bit, and then turn it on, it works. For about 2 minutes. Then the vertical hold goes wacky and the screen is strange. The sound is still there. That make me think...
