Wait so your saying the VGA mod doesn't work with it? So if I just wire the screen straight through the component connector will the screen work fine? What portable did you use it on?

Well that's unfortunate. I spent so much time trying to buy a DOL-101 (cause I thought at the time they were better) that I didn't take the time to figure why I needed it. Luckily I have a DOL-001 cube with a CPU 20 so I'm still good. I'm still searching for a cheap component cable so progress...
