    No/Glitched video

I've had this SNES for quite a long time (it's very yellow), and it stopped working at least 5 years ago, possibly longer. The issue I'm experiencing is that for most games, I get a black screen. The only thing that ever gives me any response is Super Mario World, though it's not at all...

    Info regarding NFC and Amiibo

Have you checked out http://www.reddit.com/r/amiibros ? I think they've made decent progress on gathering Amiibo data, though I don't personally frequent there.

    Classic Controllers on GCp

http://m.ebay.com/itm/231495464239?nav=SEARCH check this out. It's a classic controller in shape but a Gamecube controller in function. Looks like it plugs right in to any Gamecube port.

I just bought a Windows Phone.

As far as I can tell this isn't an issue on the phone OS. All of my home screen icons are touchable buttons.

I just bought a Windows Phone.

I recently switched from Android to a Nokia Lumia 1020. Along with the awesome 41 mp camera, I've had nothing but a smooth experience, performance wise. I've yet to find a better browser than IE, but I've loaded up on NES, SNES, and game boy emulators. They integrate well with onedrive for ROMS...

Would people be interested in 3D print commissions?

I say it's a fantastic idea. I can always think of little pieces I need for some figure or project that would take a little planning to make by hand, whereas printing seems like a simpler, more accurate approach. (Not personally sure about shapeways, by the way. But working with someone who is...

    WiiPad Worklog

This looks awesome. Mostly because I've been planning nearly the same thing! (Using the same case, even) Can I ask what battery you're using? I've heard the wii could stand up to 14v or so, even though it runs on 12. Wasn't too sure how accurate that was though.

    Watsugs first Wii handheld

This is actually not far off from something I'm going to be attempting! Glad to see someone else has already done it. How does it feel in your hands, weight and size wise? Also, batteries or none?

    Type of button switch

Yes, that is correct. Is that more of a correct term for them? Searching for "push button toggle switch" gets me lots of larger buttons for use in cars and such, but nothing that appears to be for small electronic use. To the others, thank you for the flip-flop suggestions. I've been looking...

    Type of button switch

That's something I'd considered, but thought it would be easier said than done. Can't find much on it. Do you care to elaborate on how this could be accomplished or if there's a tutorial around where someone's done it?

    Type of button switch

This probably seems like a terribly stupid question, but what's a general term I can use to find non-momentary push button switches? I want a button similar in form factor to a tact button but that holds its state and toggles between the two when clicked and released, either by actually holding...

My first GameCube portable /Questions I have

Re: Re: My first GameCube portable /Questions I have Yep, you're right. No battery doors. I think I still may be able to use a couple though. Got a lot of project ideas floating around. Let me know what you'd need from me. Thanks

My first GameCube portable /Questions I have

Do you have any photos of those battery enclosures? I wouldn't mind having one or two. I wanted to implement some battery door-type fixtures but can't find any cheap nor do I wanna rip them out of anything I have.

    question av cables internal makeup

You are correct. The shielding copper wire is a ground, and the internal, insulated one carries the signal. I recently learned this myself trying to hook up composite video to a wii screen.

Composite a/v out for Intec Wii screen

Well, I didn't allow myself enough room between the board and the hot glued joins to screw everything back together, so I had to solder some longer wires in there so it would all fit and close up. Worked as more practice for soldering, which I needed! (Could probably use a better tip too) So I...
