    Audio Distortion

The audio signal is going through shielded wire, and I made sure the shielding is grounded on one end. Also, I made a mistake and it turns out it was actually connected to 5v, not 12v. Sorry for the mistake. Sadly, school has also begun so I'm going to remove the question tag for now...

    Audio Distortion

I just finished wiring up a GameCube mobo to my speakers, and I can hear the boot sequence, but the audio is distorted so that it sounds like the speakers are maxing out the entire time. I'm using some Arctic Cool speakers that came with their own amp. I am using the pins from Ashen's guide...

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

8 player needs a big screen because on a large map everyone gets soo tiny! But it's so much fun fighting that many people, especially on the Great Cave Offensive. Overall, I love the roster since it's so much more well-balanced than in previous games.

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

That's not called cheating it's called having a real controller ;) Also, I was totally wrong about the roster leak and it's official on the Japanese version: Yes, the Duck hunt dog is here. :? Yes, Dr. Mario Returns :awesome:

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

In Japan, Super Smash Bros for 3DS is coming out this week! And one of my friends is getting the JAPANESE VERSION SO HE CAN PLAY IT EARLY!! Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that if you want to see the game early, he's doing a twitch livestream This Friday at about 6:30 EST at...

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

That first leak is fake for several reasons, but the biggest red flag for me is that pit is not next to dark pit or palutena. Characters from the same series are always next to each other-- or at least in the next row, but Never on the opposite sides of the board. Also the screen pixellates...

    Gamecube Thermal protection circuit question

Thanks guys I'll try the desoldering braid! :) edit: I also got a new tip for my soldering iron, since the old one is kinda deformed and I'll use thinner wire.

    Screen for PS2 portable.

Screens like that are powered by DC, and it is converted from AC by the wall adapter. Check the wall adapter's Output (probably something like 12V 500 mA) to find out what it actually needs

    Gamecube Thermal protection circuit question

I am using a (sort of) medium GC motherboard cut, and while I was relocating the 3.3V line, I made the really stupid mistake of soldering it directly to a chip instead of to the corresponding trace on the motherboard. Well, it's been a while since I have done any soldering and I accidentally...

    Weird GC PSU Problem

are you plugging it into just the screen, or the whole GCP? it sounds sort of like something is shorting and the PSU is stopping to prevent a blown fuse. Does the screen still work with any other adapters?

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

You're on! You'll just have to wait until the wii U version comes to battle my Mega Man. Although, Mega Man was super hard to get used to when I played at Best Buy because his moveset us so unusual. Anyway, I can see why they pushed back the 3DS release. When I played that one at best Buy...

LCD Screens for Gamecube portable bigger than 5 inches

Your screen looks great if you can fit it in your build, but it looks like it's designed to run on 9V. Anything over 12V has a chance of frying it, and it might not work under 5V, so if your battery is in the 12 or higher voltage range then you might need a regulator. But if you're running the...

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

Get ready for Mii  EDIT: Sorry about that-- I heard it from the same person who predicted villager. Anyway, we do have some more pokemans and CUSTOMIZABLE MOVESETS that are NOT using Miis

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

That combo bar is going to be hard to fill when fighting real people. He looks really fun to play as overall, like Ganondorf but more competitive. Overall, we are starting to get a fun and varied group of characters.

Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS

I feel like they're already split up between Melee and Project M.
