I've yet to fry a motherboard (humble brag), But I'm certain there is a need for pre-cut boards. Thinking back to about a year ago, I would have definitely considered buying one.

I can confirm that these do not rotate. (Except a few degrees of rotation allowed by bending of the rubber.) I haven't personally used them in place of controller buttons, but they should probably work as well as anything else. That, and they are cheap.

You need to have an SD card in the slot. Another problem could be your region switch not being properly configured.

If I were making a hinged portable, I'd ditch the batteries and make it run on USB similarly to the CurvyCube. This would eliminate the aforementioned heat issues and probably result in a more aesthetically pleasing device. That's just me, though. Good luck on your project. I'm sure with enough...

How would you attach one of those nubs to a slider, though? Epoxy it to the bottom half of an original slider cap? That's all I could think of.

I'm curious about those caps you used on the 3ds sliders. Where do you get them?

Since you bring up Zenloc's guide, does this not require a transistor as shown in his guide?
