Hello, On the NOAC, there is a capacitor for the Audio Line and a transistor, resistor, and capacitor on the Video line. Would it be alright to remove these without any adverse side effects? Thanks

I wouldn't try to copy MAF with anything. I always had to explain how regulators worked and taught him the difference between linear and switching. He usually sent things to me or someone else to finish or fix. The only parts he did himself was the casework. Also, just listen to the queen of PS2.

If you broke the board after one RCP connection, I really don't think you should try on another board. Keep practicing on the broken board until you RCPing just turns boring, not hard. Then try it on a new board.

What I suggest is to RCP just the top row so it'll fit in the case (I don't think it will fit if you don't without a spacer). My friend showed me this idea and even wired up an n64 like so, it seems like a great idea to me.

It's not worth it. WVIs have horrible range, making you tethered to the console. The whole point of portables is to carry it around with you. You're gonna be stuck in your living room with this thing anyways, so why not just play the console on a bigger screen?

I have had three 4.3" screens and my friend had two. Out of all of them, I have only gotten one to turn on and function perfectly at 5v and haven't tried any lower voltages. I ran a 12v adapter to a 7805 and used a multimeter to double check. I haven't tried any lower voltages, though, as 5v...
