Wii Key Fusion Crashes my wii HELP!!!

You may also just need to re-seat the flex cable that goes from the wasp to the wii itself. If that doesn't work, but a regular drive does, check if the light on the wasp lights up. If not, your wasp may be defective, or something else may be wrong.

    Light wii trimming

That trim will work, since it's a RVL-40. The button you have circled is the eject button, which will not be used if you do USB/SD loading of games. As gman said, make sure to sand the edges well. It would also be a good idea to mask off the board with some painters tape or something, to...

    Shank's Wii Super Thread

Re: Dyxlesci's Wii Super Thread I think I may have shorted something near the front, however I will hook it up to my logic analyser when I get some FFC connectors in that I ordered and see exactly what was the cause of the static/slowdown. Also, amazing work gman! Is the new Wii board trimmed...

    Gman's Wii portable worklog

Don't remember where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure the Bluetooth runs over a form of USB, so it should really only need 2 data, power and ground lines... *gonna look for it to make sure I'm slightly sane* Edit: this is what I was thinking of

    Shank's Wii Super Thread

Re: Dyxlesci's Wii Super Thread Just a warning to you all, some of the disk drive boards seem to do funny stuff to processors, I had a 01 board that I was messing with different arrangements of drives and it seems like the smaller boards will really mess up the processor if they don't have the...

    Shank's Wii Super Thread

Re: Dyxlesci's Wii Super Thread If you want, I can update those when you sand/scan your boards. I also have a RVL-60 with which I tested relocating wifi, needless to say, it's broken now :P You can have it if you'd like, assuming I've got enough to ship it to ya.

    Shank's Wii Super Thread

Re: Dyxlesci's Wii Super Thread (To bentomo) Have you tried just hooking 5v directly to the bluetooth module, or do you think that would cause problems?

    Shank's Wii Super Thread

Re: Dyxlesci's Wii Super Thread Technically, yes, there should be no problem in loading and running the Wii mini's OS on the regular Wii, however, to get the OS you need the system key, which is stored in the starlet ROM (inside the GPU die itself). If you look in the Wii mini cracking thread...

Wii Mini Hacking Initiative: We WILL Crack It!

If you softmod a Wii and make a NAND backup, it also puts a file called keys.bin (it should be a 1KB file) on the main directory of the SD card. If you rename the keys.bin file to the serial of the Wii it came from, you could either email me those renamed keys.bin files, or upload them to my...

Wii Mini Hacking Initiative: We WILL Crack It!

Haven't been here in a while, school and all :P I have, however been wondering about something... Can we get some people who have softmodded their wiis, but still have the original serial number to post original serial and NAND key? I would've done this myself with the few wiis I've got here...

Wii Mini Hacking Initiative: We WILL Crack It!

Gonna test this out on a couple Wiis I've got the keys for (haven't got the parts I need to put this on a wii mini quite yet...) This could be the gateway into Wii mini homebrew, of course, if it works... :) Also, gonna use those dumps to test if a brute-force NAND cracking program I'm gonna...

Wii Mini Hacking Initiative: We WILL Crack It!

Unfortunately the SD card slot has already been attempted, and failed. The code for reading SD cards has been removed (or disabled) in the Wii mini. However, I am getting a NAND read/writer in, does anyone know of a way to install the homebrew channel to a NAND dump (if you have the key of...

I'm looking for someone with a 3d scanner

What were you looking for in your scan? I don't have a scanner, but I have a caliper and 3D modeling software.
