Wire 3ds Slider to a DPAD?

Yeah I have seen this before, only problem is the sliders are made differently, which I'm sure you know. I want to eliminate the DPAD and just use a 3ds slider if possible. Just wondering if anyone has experience with something like that, thanks in advance!

This seems like it could work, but you could always use a pic or micro controller to take the output from the 3ds stick and translate it to a digital press.

That sounds more promising. Are there any guides out there, or is it pretty strait forward?
You'd have to know how to program a microcontroller.

Hey guys!

Any progress, or info if anyone made this work? I want to do this to a 3DS slider to replace the dpad as well

You don't need to waste a micro controller on this. You could just use a LM339. If you want I can draw you up something.

What're you thinking, set up an op-amp as a comparator?
