Will hot glue melt here?

I wired up the filters and want to make sure that they stay wired. Will putting hot glue in the red box stay solid, or will it get too hot and melt?

It may get a little mushy depending on your cooling setup but it won't ever come off and expose the wire as long as the first time you hot glue it makes good connection with where you want it to stick.

OK, I'll probably glue and then put some black tape over it so it can't go anywhere if it gets too hot

That method works. If the glue melts it will just reform under the tape. I had glue not melt too badly on a stock Wii heatsink so it's probably okay.

I would use an epoxy but to each their own.
