Using original power/reset buttons after RF box removal

I am making an NES slim out of an actual NES, as I want 100% compatibility, and I'm too broke to buy another system now. What I'd like to know is: How do I use the original Power/Reset plug and buttons now? I know 3 of the 5 connections are for audio, video, and power, but I don't know what the other 2 are.

I've been inside my NES a few times for cleaning and let me just say that the metal cover on the RF, AV, and power ports is pretty stuck on there.

If you're asking what the RF is used for, basically before people had cable-boxes and before TVs had the VRL input, everything used one universal RF cable. If you have a cable-box you can probably find it coming out of a wall going into your box. Today, there's no need to have the RF port on your consoles so you could probably desolder it and the channel switch with no problems but I've never done it before so I'm just gonna say to test after every step in the process so you can return it to a working state if it breaks!
