Dang dude, that looks absolutely sick so far. Nice job with the buttons. Only thing I'd suggest is to see if you can somehow manage to squeeze in 3DS sliders instead. The PSP sliders work, but they're not quite on par as far as range goes. If you can somehow manage to cram some 3DS sticks in, I'd love to know how you manage.

Where did you get that LCD? I've ordered a ton of different 4.3" screens looking for one with a small driverboard like that. Would you mind sharing the link where you bought it? :D

    Awesome!

BTW, its only NTSC IPL v1.0 board that dont work. ALL PAL board will work with the Wiikey Fusion, even PAL IPL v1.0

sure ashen! this is the screen i bought http://www.dealextreme.com/p/et-430-4-3 ... v-dc-47973

sadly, i bought the psp sliders before read your comments about it. aswell i want to ask you what is the exacly voltage you input into and the resistance values you used. a schematic would be wonderfull :D

@Diminuendo, i have one on my job and my boss was really happy to leave me use it for a project like that :D

EDIT: yea! i was surprised when i see its a Pal cube, cause Brazil is a NTSC country, and the cubes i've bought before was all NTSC 1.0

Dude, you're like one of those new guys that come along with a weird SN that everybody assumes is a n00b to the 9001st degree until they make a build thread and blow us all the *Can'tSayThisOnTV* away.

You have joined the ranks of brunoip and daftmike.

    You skate! :D

This gcp is going to be among the greatest. Truly outstanding and professional work. I remember that Laser 64 you made too, and if this looks half as good as that did, it will be unimaginably amazing.

Wow, that looks reallly awesome! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE PROGRESS!

Do you think that you'll have to put a spacer in like Ashen?

    ^Basically how I felt.

Started out thinking "Oh God, this is going to be a mess"

    Then the printed circuit boards...

    Then the CNC Machine.

Now I'm scared for other reasons.

You should do something cool with the paint on the circuit boards, just for the Heck of it.
Make each of them a :awesome: or something. ;)

    Bump!
I'm actually doesn't have much free time, but did some progress.

    Resuming:

I was OMGWTFcutted the GC board, wired everything (power, video, controller transistor, memory card, gecko, and WKF). All was working perfectly, WKF was working every single time i'd pushed the switch. and then acidentally i've shorted the 1v9 to ground. All stops. No video and audio anymore. i spended so many time for several days tryng to get it to work and nothing, so i leaved this board and ordered another one. OK, new board is in hands and i already OMGWTFcutted it again and tested. Is working! Now its time to wire everything again and make it happen. Forgot to mention, the controller board are all wired too, but still fighting with those PSP sliders :evil2:

Some crap iphone pics for now..

    controller board wired
    [IMG]

    that is the first board
    [IMG]

    old board with everything wired
    [IMG]

    this is the new board..

    another view

EDIT: I'm still able to buy the custom regulators. if someone have some spare, i'm interested ;)

Pic is kind of blury, but here is all of my progress.
Controller transistor relocated, memory card, Wiikey Fusion and SD Gecko (via microSD) wired directly to the vias and finally working. I've had video issues and spended lots of time poking around it, but is pretty fixed too. :awesome:

Really nice work so far :)
How did you get the SD card reader to stay on the GC Mobo?

i didn't really understood your question. Are you meaning how the WKF SD reader are fixed on the mobo? This is just double faced tape and are not definetely in place, just for tests ;)
