Oculus Rift with this = AMAZING!

    Or flail your legs around in a slippery plastic dish to control a lobster. I still like that idea more.

    Also, Palmer, I just did some math, and got that from 4 inches away, you would need approx 27502 PPI Lul. I'm sure your lenses mess with that number a bit, but still... that's a fun number.

    I feel like I already threw out a number close to 16k in this thread, actually.
    I think it was 8k, but halfway to the limits of human perception is probably good enough.

    edit: yep, I said 8k.

    Or we could use Groose's idea, some sort of diffusion to soften pixel/subpixel edges.

    The rift has built in focusing mechs. Just put it slightly out of focus. This creates the same effect, only better.

    If you take a light sandpaper and scratch up your cornea, it will help diffuse light, and create a full 3D immersive effect for the Occult Rift.
