how much voltage would i need to run a n64 and a s1 screen for 3 hours and could i use 2 of the camera batteries? thanks :awesome:

FFS, I swear I'll make a php script or something to determine various battery life calculations... anyway:

Depends on whether your using expansion pak or jumper pak - jumper, for simplicities sake, draws about 1Ah, expansion 1.5Ah. (On 3.3v) - If you use the pth, it's about 90% efficiency, so if you also add in the screen + 12v line of the n64, It'll be ROUGHLY:

Jumper: 1Ah/Hour, so 3000mAh @ 7.4V will work

Expansion: 1.25Ah/Hour, so 3750mAh @ 7.4 should work.

I know i have nothing to do with this post, but this is helpful, i need to find some sheap batts & charger & protection circuit & money, lol

I have a question about the battery wiring. I have gotten everything connected and put together including the batteries and their respective protection board and I go to solder the last connectio, to hook up the battery to the protection board and it starts sparking and the wire gets hot. What am I missing?
