my ps1 n64 laptop

im working on a duel ps1 n64 portabal but i have a few qustions

can i run the ps1 or n64 with a 9 volt battery :tophat: :eek: :ninj:

or i found some cheep 7.4 volt batterys but thay are 1400 amps can i still use thim one last thaing

i know the websight whare i git the step down regulator but i cant find it with the serch engin doas eny one have a link

Not the one that you are thinking of. A standard 9V does not have near enough power (which in this case is measured in milli-amp hours). However, if you were to buy a battery pack from batteryspace.com or your local hobby store, it could be 9V. It really depends on how many watts it can supply (in other words, it depends on both volts and amps) I would recommend that you go 4000+ mAH for this portable, as that way you would get some decent play time. I would also note that if you are using a PSone screen, it cannot properly run off of 9+ volts.

You mean 1400 milliampere hours.
You could use these in your portable, but I recommend you buy two or three of them and wiring them in parallel according to this guide:

...if they are lithium ion or lithium polymer batteries. If they are not, you can just wire them up without a protection circuit. You would get much more play time this way.

For the N64, you are looking for the PTH8080 regulator by Texas Instruments. It can be found here:
