Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey and screen ordered front of the case is pretty much done until the screen gets here, all buttons mounted and wired up. just waiting on the wiikey so I can do some testing.
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey and screen ordered yeah it kinda sucks. Been funding this by selling some games but I really don't want to sell another game just so I can buy paint.
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey and screen ordered Looks like I'm probably going to have to make a spacer for this, having problems closing the case and I haven't even gotten the screen or wiikey yet.
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey and screen ordered With the heatsink. It's mostly due to the fact that i ended up using a third party controller so it couldn't be trimmed up as much unless I wanted to trace it and solder to the traces.
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey arrived, screen ordered Wow you got whole rug in the mail? but in all seriousness good luck
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey arrived, screen arrived. not the uglycube, but something else I might start working on. recognize the case?
Re: Joeys UglyCube - MiniCube casework started Some progress being made. It seems to freeze as soon as it gets to the menu though, any ideas? edit: its not that it freezes, but the controller doesn't function after booting the wiikey menu.
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey Wired Assuming you're not a noob, you know you use D-Pad UP & D-Pad DOWN to navigate and D-Pad Left & D-Pad Right to launch the game, right? I've never heard of the menu freezing before. :\
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey Wired and Working just checked and my 3.3v to the controller came undone haha. hadn't realized it until after I posted. I know how to navigate a menu . Just a tip if anyone else wants to solder theirs like this. Don't forget that flux is your friend. Slot B SD card slot wired up and working
Re: Joeys UglyCube - Wiikey Wired and Working Looks good man. Nice job with the trace soldering on the wiikey.
