First Time Making A Portable

If you couldn't tell by the title of this, I'm attempting to make a portable NES, and since this is my first time doing both a mod and a portable console, I have no idea where to begin. I made an item list of what I would need.

My question is, with the list of items that I have, will it be possible for me to make a portable NES, or would I just be wasting my money?

You should be ok. Most NOACS (except the Superjoy 3's) are actually pretty easy to mod up and they take a lot of abuse. Surprised Mine still works really. There's usually 3 boards inside and you can get rid of two of them. The hardest part will be relocating the cart slot and that's more tedious than anything.

I'd get a different NES controller though bc those kinda look terrible.
