Dead screen?

My screen was connected to my gamecube and powered from the regulators. It was working fine about a month ago, when i put my project on hold. I put the screen away but the driver board sat on my desk until today. I turned the gc on for testing today and the screen did not turn on. I'm pretty sure the board is fried because the led next to the screen control buttons did not turn on, whether it had a signal or not. The power wiring is good without a doubt since it was working before. I also do not see any physical damage on it. Could it be a blown fuse?
Any help is appreciated.

Power up the board and see if you can get voltage from a regulator on the board, assuming you know where one is.

OK, so I powered it directly from the brick and the *Can'tSayThisOnTV*er works now... Could anyone explain that behavior?

It didn't work off the GC reg because you were drawing too much current. Did you play a different game or have anything else connected than usual?
