Connecting a car monitor to a PS1

You can definitely wire the video. But tht screen does not have a speaker and has no audio input.

The PS1 has a 5v output on pin #10. So if the screen can work on 5v then you could wire the power to pin 10 and it should work.

My monitor needs a 12 V output to work (in theory) but it work with a 9V output too, but still not enough for the PS1, how can make it work without having a secondary batteries just for the monitor ?

O and i plug my monitor with electric gripper to my snes to see if the it works, and it work but i dont have color !

Edit : it work with 6 and 7.5 volt too, but 5 is not enough...

Some monitors have a 5v regulator inside that you can bypass to run it on 5v.

But why don't you just run it on the same battery as the PS1 ?

Because i dont have any batteries, it's my first project so i'm not using it with batteries (may be after when i'm getting stronger with the technique), i'm making it portable but i still use it with the output plug that comes with the PS1 (so not that portable ^^).

And do you know about the no color ?

bump and also do you have a pal or ntsc screen and console.
because if they are different it can cause it to go grayscale.
