[Cancelled] [Worklog] Playtupper 1 portable

I will work on my ps1 portable, made out of a SCPH 9001 model. I call it the "playtupper 1" because i will make the case out of tupperware. So far i have removed the i/o port, av port, and soldered wires directly to av.

I think i'll use a tft back up car moniter for the screen.
So one question I need 12v, 3.3, and 7.2-8.4v, what would be be the most power effient way to get these? I also need the pinout for the controler the pins on the mobo so i can wire the controller to it and player2 and memcards, i have searched for them but i can not find them, any help will be apreciated.

Nice to see a ps1 portable!
You probably won't need 12V as most backup scenens work on lower voltages.

Re: [Worklog] Playtupper 1 portable

Here's a PSone portable guide: http://kyorune.com/modding/article.php?id=65 Scroll down to controller section for a nice pic of which colored wire goes where. They are probably not all needed though.
Compare with this information: http://pinouts.ru/Game/playstation_9_pinout.shtml
Are you using one of those with a controller daughterboard?
Then you need to take your multimeter and test continuity from the controller to board.

Hope this helps :)

Yeah i have a daughter board, i was hopeing i wouldnt have to cont. test it but oh well, maybe ill make a diagram to help other people :D
Here's my diagram for the video, audio, power and the controler, i am not responicble for any damage done to peoples ps1's, I am not sure if the memory cards work because i dont have one to test, I will aslo post this in refrence section.

When i solder the controller directlly to the wires the controller wont connect but when i hook it up to the half of the daughter board it connects any ideas here?

What im trying to do is have player 1 soldered to the board and player 2 as the port, i know both players work cause if you switch 4 with D it switches the controller.
Edit: i got it to work, probly had a pin wrong, i am green-red color blind so thats probly what it was......

Soldered player 1 directoly to console, and player 2 port and mem card to console
