Green Led but no video output

Hello modders,

I've been watching this forum for a longer time to get more knowledge about console modding, especially Nintendos. I started my own Wii Portable project two weeks ago and everything went fine. So today I wanted to test the Wii if it's still working after removing all the adapters. I soldered the Power suply to the + and - pin of the board. Then I soldered the composite video (pin 3) and the ground (pin5) to a composite video wire and put the yellow plug into the TV. Sadly the Wii doesn't give any video output. I checked on shorts but couldn't find one. The BT and WiFi modules are still clicked into the board. Before removing the adapters (Power/GC Mem/GC ports/AV) the board worked fine.
Could you guys help me out?

Do you have the Wii set up to display 480p? If you have chosen that option in the system settings, I believe composite video will not work. You could try component video output instead.
