I i'm i the process of upgrading my work area and i needed a desk to go with my new gaming chair.the desk will have a built in pc and a file server to send files to all of my machines and other pcs on my network.i did not want to spend a ton on the build so i will be making the entire project from spare parts and wood left over from other builds.the desk needs to be self contained and mobile as my work area is small.so far i have the frame built and i will be spending the day mapping out the electronics.here is a few shots of the build so far.

here is a update.i got the legs installed the desk is on wheels to move it with ease.motherboard tray is installed.next i will map out where i want everything to go.

Looks pretty good so far. I must admit though, I've always been against PC-Desk builds because the desk ends up so thick compared to a normal one. Still, neat project, and looks well put together.

well i started work on the front panel of the desk today.i cut the holes for the fan controller and media hub display and the dvd drive.i still have to cut ports for the usb and mic and headphone jacks.the power and reset buttons are led backlit and will act as both buttons and power led and hdd led.check the video for the details and please subscribe to the channel for updates.

so here is a quick update i got a lot done on the front panel.added holes for intake fans and usb and audio ports.i also made a dvd cutout for the other side of the desk until i decide what i want to put there.the false floors for the motherboard trays are both cut and installed.i 3D printed some custom fan grills and will be mapping out the motherboard in my next update.check the video link for a video update and please subscribe to the channel to stay up to date and smack that like button.

So I got a lot done today.the desk is wrapped in carbon fiber and I installed RGB LEDs to the legs. Next I will put on all the logos and graphics. Then make the covers for the front of the legs out of plexi glass.

Oh man, I'm really digging those light up legs. That's an awesome idea!

ok so i got the custom leg covers done waiting for them to dry fully to clear coat them.they are made out of plexi glass the goal was to make them look cool and follow the theme im going for.the name will light up thanks to the rgb led strips.see demo and details in the video.and please subscribe to the youtube page.

ok so i got the leg covers installed and wired up all the leds.then i started wrapping all of the parts being used in the desk with carbon fiber.next i will start on the back covers and install the monitor stand.

well i got the lcds and mount installed to the desk. Now i have to start making the back marquee panel.all the 3d printed fan grills are made.My mesh filters and sponsored peripherals should be here wendsday.

Very nice! Its pretty amazing the difference a vinyl wrap can make to the appearance. Great job man.
